Job Description

Marcon Metalfab (www.marconmetalfab.com) is hiring a CNC Maintenance Technician to join our growing and dynamic team based out of Delta’s Tilbury Park.Work Schedule:Day Shift - Monday to Thursday - 7:30am-4:00pm.Responsibilities:Servicing of all on-site CNC equipment, including a plasma beamline, plasma plate tables with integrated drilling units, tube laser, fiber optics, and CO2 plate laser, water jets, machining equipment, and robotic welders.Installing, inspecting, testing, adjusting, and maintenance, and repairing equipment while following safety procedures.Training equipment operators.Performing work quality checks and monitor machine output.Translating parts drawings into measurements for production.Requirements:10 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment.Technical degree in automation engineering or machinery.Experience operating CNC machinery.Understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM.Excellent written and spoken communication in English.What We Offer:Excellent health and dental benefits and group retirement plan.Supportive team environment.A strong history of no layoffs and continued business growth.Overtime opportunitiesWhile we sincerely appreciate all applicants, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.About Marcon Metalfab.:For over 30 years, Marcon Metalfab has been Western Canada’s partner of choice for custom–fabricated steel and rubber products for the transportation, building construction, utilities and other industries.Equipped with leading manufacturing technologies that allow for efficient handling and processing of materials, our facility can support even the largest fabrication projects.Coupled with an unconditional commitment to providing expert customer service and a rigorous quality management system, we consistently deliver quality products within tight timeframes at prices that are competitive within any industry
