Job Description

Our client a global organization in the Delta BC area is looking for a shipper/receiver for a permanent opportunity. This role is ideal for anyone who enjoys working in an environment where there are huge growth opportunities.What our client offers:

  • Starting wage of 27.85/hr. with increases throughout the year
  • Benefits – Medical, Dental and Vision – After probationary period
  • Paid vacation time
  • RRSP Contribution program
  • Afternoon shift – Monday to Friday 1pm to 9:30pm
Your tasks as the Shipper/Receiver:
  • Load and unload trailers
  • Inspections of product to ensure they are in order
  • Work on forklift (Raymond Reach) to pick orders
  • 50% manual movement of cylinders (rolling, not lifting)
  • 50% forklift operation
  • Any duties assigned by the manager
The required qualifications of Shipper/Receiver:
  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment would be ideal
  • Great team player attitude and the want to work with others
  • Drive and the want to grow with an organization
  • Forklift certification would be an asset but not a must. Client will send candidates for testing/certification
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
