The Specialized Services Technician will join a team of highly trained individuals who provide supplemental support and expertise to various divisions. The Technician must be versatile and open to challenges. This individual will be highly motivated, coachable, and willing to obtain further training while always displaying a positive attitude.Key Responsibilities:Fully engaged as an entrant, manwatch, or rescue attendant for Confined Space Entry projects inclusive of tank cleanings.Involved with execution of chemical and petroleum transfers including materials handlingInvolvement with Emergency Response and responding to incidentsInvolvement with transloading of railcars (Both liquid and solid products)Involvement with environmental projects and assisting as requiredFully engaged with decontamination projects under direction of project leaderParticipation in projects that are deemed out of scope or require more planning and preparationWillingness to lead by example and work safely, ensuring compliance with all GFL’s policies and proceduresAffiliation and involvement with various divisions, and various work types throughout the companyKnowledge, Skills and Competencies:Able to work long hoursAble to work out of town from time to timeMeticulous, organized and motivatedAble to problem solveExcellent communication skillsTeam player with a positive attitudeAble to take direction and follow through on instructionsWe thank you for your interest.
