Job Description

Warehouse workerCMP Group Ltd., a leading provider of Marine Products, Construction, and Industrial solutions is seeking a Warehouse worker for the Delta location, who will report to the Warehouse Manager. This is a full-time permanent unionized position.Benefits

Responsibilities
  • Welcome delivery trucks, receive shipments, unload trucks and check-in products
  • Prepare all orders for shipment and load merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools
  • Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise
  • Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times
  • Tag and label merchandise and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type
  • Box, wrap and pack the merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
  • Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items
  • Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs
  • Perform Cycle counts
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Adhere to the company’s safety rules and guidelines
  • Promote safe work practices as outlined in the Worksafe B.C. regulations
  • Use PPE according to the company’s standard operating procedure
  • Other duties assigned
Requirements
  • Stand up lift truck/ Raymond Reach certification
  • 1-3 years Stand up lift truck/ Raymond Reach experience
  • Experience using RF and hand scanners
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs. and doing work involving physical stamina and manual dexterity
  • Team player, problem solver, good organizational and time-management skills
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience with Visual ERP system (Asset)
  • Other duties assigned
Hours
  • 8am - 4:30 pm Monday to Friday
