Job Description

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Channel Sales Representative (CSR) who will be responsible for the development and growth of sales for the residential electrician channel partners in the area of Sherbrooke, Trois-Rivières, Rive-Sud de Montréal, Valleyfield, Drummondville.You must be a knowledgeable, passionate and results-oriented individual who wants to make a difference in sales by providing value and outstanding customer service.   • Execute platforming, commercial action plans and an animation strategy for the Electrician business with the assigned Area and distributor.
  • Define and validate the business plans with the Commercial Channel Partners under their responsibility.
  • Provide competitive feedback to the marketing team and facilitates territory liaison to Electrician Business Development Manager.
  • Ensure the success of product, program, campaign launches: execution of the launching strategy and reporting.
  • Support clerical requests needed by our distributors in their respective assign area.

  • University/College/Technical School graduate with an electrical emphasis.
  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the electrical distribution industry.
  • Intensive Home & Distribution + Control experience.
  • Intensive knowledge of Residential and Industrial Electrician market.
  • Must have sound knowledge of Channel/Distribution/Industry business model, processes and operations.
  • Proven sales, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Functional knowledge of English and French is required. Must be able to work with stakeholders located in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and internationally.
