Client Care RepresentativeAnimal Medical Center SouthDunmore, AlbertaWe have a fantastic opportunity at Animal Medical Center South! Have you always envisioned working with animals every day, in a collaborative, high paced and welcoming environmentWe are looking to add to our Client Care team, which means you’ll be the face of the clinic to all our guests, furry and otherwise! This role could be full-time or part-time, depending on availability.You’d be joining an amazing team that works hard together to deliver gold standard care to both small and large animals in the greater Medicine Hat area. You can set your own pace, define priorities and can generally navigate independently, recognizing when it’s necessary to ask for help.Job Responsibilities:

  • Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patient and pet parents
  • Ability to answer a multi line phone system, and track and book appointments effectively
  • Respond and manage email correspondence; clients, referring veterinarians & internal office messages
  • Invoicing/billing; creating estimates, obtaining pet owner confirmation and processing payments
  • Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting people at ease and creating a welcoming environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas and common areas
  • Willingness to learn more regarding; veterinary services, updated medical office procedures and assisting the Veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments
A few other things that might make you a great candidate for this role;
  • Be comfortable handling and lifting animals, up to 50 pounds
  • Have knowledge of and the ability to learn basic veterinary terminology
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have prior experience with or the ability to learn Cornerstone software
  • Be comfortable working under pressure, while keeping calm
