Our motto of “pride in service” is evident in everything we do, from our Clients to our Team Members.Job Summary: We are seeking a professional in-house residential photographer/videographer to join our award-winning team. You will be accountable for creating and editing dynamic videos, photos, and virtual tours that showcase our clients’ homes in their best light while providing the highest standard of service throughout Durham Region and the GTA. You’re excited to change real estate for the better and arrive at work every day ready to make your mark.What you will do:

  • Create listing videos with cinematic aerial and walk through footage of residential properties
  • Capture events, marketing and public relations photos, social media captures, headshots, Vlogs, recruitment videos, along with any other ad hoc photos as required
  • Travel to and from properties and surrounding neighborhoods
  • Maintain professional and effective communication with Clients and Team Members throughout all aspects of the media shoot including scheduling, set up and on-site visits
  • May be required to work occasionally on evenings or weekends based on business needs
  • Video pre-production:
  • Assist in the content development strategy including: themes, scripting, actor’s and layout
  • Set and maintain a production schedule prior to shoot, collaborating with the marketing department and management team for revisions as needed
  • Video production:
  • Capture interior and exterior property
  • Set up shoot including lighting, sound, props and other technical details
  • Record material for content using a combination of professional video and still cameras
  • Video post-production:
  • Edit all photography and video according to an outlined schedule
  • Overlay effects such as logos, text, motion graphics etc.
  • Prepare video for multimedia formats including web and other digital distribution channels
  • Encode and archive online videos
What you will need:
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in advanced multimedia storytelling techniques across various platforms
  • Competency in videography from scripting through final editing, including proficiency with branding guidelines
  • Experienced in drone photography with the appropriate license and/or certifications
  • Resourceful, decisive and hold yourself and others accountable for providing superior customer service
  • Experienced in formatting photos and videos for social media
  • Advanced understanding of manual camera settings and lighting; natural and studio
  • Must be punctual and adhere to scheduled appointments
  • Be able to develop strong interpersonal relationships with Clients and Team Members
  • Manage multiple projects and changing priorities without missing deadlines
