The Company B2Gold is a low-cost international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has three operating gold mines and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Canada, Mali, the Philippines, Namibia, Columbia, Finland, and Uzbekistan. This year, B2Gold forecasts gold production to be 1,000,000- 1,080,000 ounces.PositionAccounts Payable Manager, Edmonton/VancouverLocation and Reporting Structure Reporting to the Site Controller, this position is based in Edmonton or Vancouver Office, Canada.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures and rigorous administrative systems to support the accounts payable functions; Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements; Ensure accuracy of financial transactions function by prioritizing tasks, coordinating payment schedules, and ensuring timely approval processes; Monitor and manage accounts payable aging. Compile, analyze, and report on accounts payable information to management; Assist in the coaching, training, motivating, and evaluating of accounts payable staff members; Build and maintain relationships with employees, clients and vendors; and Act as a primary liaison for the B2Gold’s vendors, oversee the reconciliation of crucial vendor accounts, address discrepancies, and schedule/lead periodic meetings with key vendors as needed.Desired Competencies and RequirementsMinimum seven (7) years of accounts payable experience, with two (2) years in a supervisory or leadership role; Post-Secondary Diploma in Business Administration or Accounting; Prior experience with SAP, S/4HANA or 4CP; Strong communication, numeracy skills and exceptional attention to detail; Experience with accounting computer software, strong excel skills and comfort in working with large data sets; and Ability to travel the site, located in Nunavut periodically.Compensation and Benefits For informational purposes, the annual salary for the role is $115,000.00 B2Gold Nunavut offers a competitive compensation package, including salary commensurate with experience, knowledge, and skills, plus a group benefits package for employees and their dependents.Application and Contact Information Kitikmeot Inuit, Nunavut Inuit, and Residents receive priority hiring consideration, if one these categories applies, please state it after the reference number in the subject line.
