Location: New capital store (Edmonton, Gateway Blvd.)Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty and convenience services in your community, and keep the customer at the centre of everything you do.Why this role is importantSUMMARY:To manage resources of the Beauty department in order to maximize and achieve sales targets.The ideal Beauty Manager will:Drive a Passion for Results – Provide Thought Leadership – Analyze and solve problems - Engage our People – Build collaborative relationships - Demonstrate Personal Leadership and Build trustDUTIESamp; RESPONSIBILITIES:SALES EXPECTATIONS:Utilizes corporate Sales Tracking Tools and Dashboard to set sales goals and to meet targetsSells to customers and coaches / mentors staff in selling skillsEnsures sales maximized through developing effective sales techniquesEnsures staff achieve productivity objectivesCUSTOMER SERVICE:Always put the Customer first and provides superior customer serviceMonitors and communicates CSI survey results and objectives with team membersActively models the desired behavior with eClienteling to provide superior customer serviceBooks appointments for events and manages annual incremental event schedulePromotes products through marketing and encourages use of the PC Optimum programEnsures staff are trained to beauty sales standardsTEAM LEADERSHIP:Mentors, coaches, trains, and motivates staffCreates an environment where “selling is fun”Prepares performance appraisals in association with Front Store ManagerArticulates and demonstrates “Blue Culture Principles” and C.O.R.E Values”Fosters an environment that supports “Blue Culture Principles” and “C.O.R.E Values”OPERATIONS:Utilizes corporate sales tools to continuously track SalesEnsures Cosmetic Operating Standards are in placeIdentifies “peak hours” and schedules shifts accordinglyQUALIFICATIONS:Planning, Judgment and Decision MakingIndependent thinking and decision making when dealing with issues related to customer’s needsThis position requires the ability to act upon tasks and goals outlined by managementDevelops a yearly plan for personal developmentWork in conjunction with the Associate-Owner and Front Store ManagerEXPERIENCE:Sales experience with a proven track record of achieving sales goalsCosmetic experienceEffective verbal and written communication skillsCustomer service orientedPrevious experience in leading a teamThe above statement reflects the general details considered necessary to describe the principal functions and duties as required for proper evaluation of the job and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the job.J2WRTLJ2WFSMJ2WCXMWhy work in a Shoppers Drug Mart storeEach store has an Associate-Owner, so you will work for a local business owner while having the support of a national brand.
