The care and quality you devote to food preparation as Demi Chef de Partie will result in truly spectacular fare that delights our guests.Potential Start Date: April 1st, 2024What you will be doing:Reporting to the Executive Chef, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues
  • Prepare and when required delegates the production of the necessary food items in accordance with standards in a timely and efficient fashion to ensure that there is no interruption to guest service
  • Ensure consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and or buffet menus according to hotel recipes and standards
  • Actively share ideas, opinions, and suggestions in daily shift briefings
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features, and promotions
  • Ensure that station opening and closing procedures are carried out to standards
  • Operate all kitchen equipment and conduct themselves with safety in mind at all times
  • Ensure that all food products are handled, stored, prepared, and served safely in accordance with hotel and government Food Safety guidelines.
  • Responsible for the day to day operations of their station and oversees the assigned area of work in absence of a Sous Chef
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
  • Carry out any other tasks as assigned
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps
