Experiencing the impact that our work has for building a sustainable future for Alexis is something we are passionate about.Backwoods Energy Services is 100% owned by the Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation and one of the largest Indigenous owned companies in Canada.Role SummaryBased in Edmonton, reporting to the HSE Manager, the HSE Advisor supports all divisions including Civil, Forestry, Matting, Mechanical, Security, and Logistics in properly and effectively implementing Backwoods HSE Management System. This person must consistently convey mature professional judgement, provide mentorship and guidance to employees and subcontractors, build strong relationships with the divisional teams and clients and be able to work in a setting with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate has post-secondary education in safety combined with a broad background of leadership and field experience. Travel up to 50% of the time will be required to various sites in the Alberta region. Responsibilities
