Job DescriptionFoodamp; Beverage Reservation Coordinator (Full Time)As a Food and Beverage Reservation Coordinator with Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, you will be an ambassador for the exceptional service and cuisine that are hallmarks of our dining experience. Your warm service and efficiency makes our guests feel welcome and valued – and set the stage for a memorable meal. Together, let’s turn moments into memories.Potential Start Date: May 15th, 2024.What you will be doing:

  • Liaise effectively with internal team members to complete tasks.
  • Book and enter Dining reservation requests using computerized reservation system
  • Detailed knowledge of all Foodamp; Beverage Outlets and their menu offerings
  • Promote and sell any in-house or upcoming Foodamp; Beverage events
  • Work closely with all Foodamp; Beverage Outlets to communicate any guest requests or special celebrations
  • Provide support to the Director of Foodamp; Beverage and senior F amp;B managers with administrative duties.
  • Monitor the dining reservation Inbox for the Hotel.
  • Respond to all F amp;B guest correspondence via phone, email and messaging tools.
  • Liaising with marketing department on various projects, menu updates and promotional content.
  • Work closely with the Department head regarding onboarding of new Foodamp; Beverage Colleagues.
  • Ensure all information is current and up to date on Open Table platform, training new users as required.
  • Answer telephone and email inquiries in a timely manner
  • Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
  • Adhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiatives
  • Carry out any other tasks as assigned
Physical Aspect of the Position (include but are not limited to):
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
  • Constant kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Frequent ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
