About the Internship (January 2026 - August 2026 Term):Our internship program welcomes interns who are completing their clinical requirements for a Master’s degree in Counselling, Clinical Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. We are currently offering ten (10) vacancies for intern therapists (unpaid) who will play a critical role in serving vulnerable clients and supporting a wide range of clients by providing individual, couple, family, and group therapy counselling services. Services are offered to meet the needs of clients and within parameters set by the agency.Interns take part in providing counselling services in our Drop-In Single-Session Counselling (DISSC) program (at The Family Centre and at partner sites) and subsidized ongoing therapy to clients presenting with a wide variety of presenting concerns. There may also be opportunities to support in schools, helping to reduce the cost of therapy for clients. This internship experience is designed to provide comprehensive training and support for interns as they complete their clinical requirements.What you will be doing:
