Job DescriptionIS THIS YOUARE YOU LOOKING FOR A POSITION WITH A WORLDWIDE PROGRESSIVE COMPANY THAT WILL GIVE YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO GROW AND BUILD A SUCCESSFUL CAREERSika Canada Inc. is looking for a new Technical Sales Representative to join our commercial construction team in region of Edmonton, AB!As a Technical Sales Representative, you’ll be visiting our customers, wherever they’re busy working, to find out how we can help them. You could find yourself on construction sites and labs, or in offices and warehouses.Ours is a model of professional consultative selling, and it’s a really hands-on job. It means rolling up your sleeves to demonstrate some of the most pioneering products in the industry, while selling our state-of-the-art products for the construction industry. Far from traditional cold calling, it’s about building relationships with warm and responsive customers, and helping them find the most innovative and cost-efficient solutions for their needs.What does the role involveDay to day, you’ll report to your Regional Sales Manager, who will also be there to help you manage your career. Calling on a network of contractors as well as distribution network partners. Responding to contractors, architects, engineers and designers on their technical needs. You will work hard to:

  • Recommend the use and application of our products for specific jobs
  • Establish and develop relationships with new customers
  • Understand and attain sales, pricing and discount objectives
  • Work very closely with the Customer Service team to ensure orders are placed and delivered effectively and on time
  • Implement Marketing initiatives such as introduction of new products, and the promotion of our product line
