This role involves working with government officials, community leaders, and stakeholders to promote positive change.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute advocacy strategies and campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze public policy issues and trends.
  • Build relationships with government officials, community leaders, and stakeholders.
  • Draft policy briefs, position papers, and advocacy materials.
  • Represent the organization at meetings, hearings, and public events.
  • Coordinate grassroots advocacy efforts and mobilize supporters.
  • Provide training and support to staff and volunteers on advocacy issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in public policy, political science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in advocacy or policy work.
  • Strong understanding of public policy processes and advocacy techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in advocacy software and tools.
