Job Description

Partner Staffing is currently working with our client seeking experienced Transportation Project Manager to join their team in Edmonton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation infrastructure projects and a proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary project team.
  • Ensure projects comply with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure high standards of project delivery.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and audits.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in transportation project management.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation infrastructure, including roads, highways, bridges, and public transit systems.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
