We are a group of fun and easy going professionals who love working with people.Job descriptionWe are seeking a mature and professional individual to take on the responsibility of being one of our front desk staff. Our clinic strives to be a welcoming and relaxing environment with excellent patient care. The position of patient care coordinator is to ensure the experience of the patient is a pleasant one from start to finish, as they are the first point of contact upon entering the clinic. Their time will primarily be spent at the front desk answering the telephone, greeting patients, booking appointments, taking payment and other administrative duties. Additionally, the applicant will assist in cleaning procedures of the waiting room and the equipment used for treatment and assessment. If the applicant is qualified, they may also assist physiotherapists with treatment when needed.Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in patients upon entering the clinic in a kind and professional manner
  • Informs patients by answering questions and directing care
  • Completes billing and payment with accuracy
  • Operates telecommunication system including telephone, email and fax
  • Assists in managing the flow of the clinic and directing patients appropriately
  • Assists in laundry, cleaning of exercise equipment and other
  • Assists in treatment directed by and with the physiotherapists (if qualified)
  • Keeps a safe and clean clinic by complying with procedures and regulations
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Excellent communication- both written and verbally

Education & Experience Requirements:
  • University/college degree is an asset but not necessary
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Jane booking software)
  • Interest in healthcare, physiotherapy or related field
  • Previous experience with customer service
  • Keen interest in learning
  • Must be able to work evenings (up to 7:30pm)
Part-time hours: 15-20 per weekApplication deadline: 2021-06-03Expected start date: 2021-06-08Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, PermanentSalary: From $17.50 per hourSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
COVID-19 considerations:All patients and staff are screened daily, all patients and staff are wearing a mask, extra cleaning procedures are in place, there is a sneeze guard in place for the front desk, and patient's are socially distanced in the waiting room.Experience:
