Job Description

  • Provide 1 on 1 supervision to a resident in long term care with responsive behavior.
  • 12 hours shift daily
  • Current Certificate of Personal Support Worker issued by a community or private college in Ontario
  • RN or RPN/LPN students that completed year 1 of study at a university or a community college in Canada. Transcripts must be provided.
  • Valid CPR
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Long-term care experience is an asset, new grads are welcome to apply
  • Vulnerable police sector screening clearance not older than 6 months
  • Recent tuberculosis (TB) test with 1 year.
  • All new hires must be fully vaccinated with a minimum of 2 doses of COVID-19 Vaccines.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, CasualPart-time hours: 16 per weekPay: $25.00-$30.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Night shift
COVID-19 considerations:The use of PPE is mandatory.Education:
  • DCS / DEC (preferred)
Experience:
  • Registered Nurses: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) License (preferred)
