GFL is currently hiring a Service Coordinator to work out of the Regina office. The Service Coordinator will manage the procurement of all parts, communal tools, and other commodities required by the Fleet Maintenance Division. The Service Coordinator’s main responsibilities will include researching, planning and dealing with vendors, ensuring purchasing procedures are followed by all parties in the procurement process as well as maintaining sufficient inventory of stock items. This position requires a highly organized individual who is passionate about contributing to a high-performing team.Job DutiesOrder, receive and sort incoming inventory, ensuring orders are accurate and meet quality standardsSource and purchase communal items such as tools for regular shop useManage, maintain and replenish inventory of standard items and shop supplies, as well as fluids for the bulk dispensing systemCreate purchase orders for required products to allow for processing through accounts payableCreate and edit Fleet Maintenance service orders to ensure all parts and inventory are billed out accordinglyOrganize and coordinate all parts and core returnsPerform general upkeep and organization of the stores roomAssist in organizing and completing special projects or tasks within the Fleet Maintenance DepartmentSchedule equipment for Preventative MaintenanceProduce month-end repair cost summaryMaintain regular communication with operationsRequirements3 + years of experience in a related roleKnowledge of heavy equipmentAbility to utilize computer software such as Microsoft Excel and WordClass 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstractKnowledge of competitive procurement practices#GFLTalentWe thank you for your interest.
