Capital Projects Manager to oversee the execution of large capital projects at our Esterhazy, SK locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and effective project execution of Mosaic #39;s large capital projects ranging from K1 compaction, K2 hydrofloat circuit, and other large-scale projects (from mine to mill to TMA) that develop. The Capital Projects Manager works closely with the Capital Director, Capital Leads, Operations/Capital site personnel, Mosaic technical and operations interdepartmental staff as well as engineering consultants, contractors, suppliers and vendors. In the future, this role has potential to evolve to include the planning and organization of large Potash turnaround work activities across multiple sites. Ideally the successful candidate for this role is local to the Esterhazy area and is comfortable with period travel as required to support other sites in NA.What you #39;ll do

• Project Administration - Includes obtaining project and procurement contract approvals, reporting on progress, deciding on staffing and manpower requirements, appropriate spending levels and providing approvals and authorizations throughout completion of Mosaic Large Capital project and/or Turnarounds.
• Technical - knowledge pertinent to Construction/Mining/Process design relevant to Potash or related mining projects/operations. Collaborate with Mosaic technicalamp; engineering activities and the technical activities of consultants (such as EPCMs) and contractors.
• Cost Control - Monitor overall project costs vs. budget including consultants, contractors/labor, materials and all other costs. Intervene if project costs are deviating unfavorably from plan. Report on cost variances with reasons and recommend corrective actions.
• Schedule - Develop and approve project schedules and monitor project progress to ensure timelines are met. Intervene and take action if schedule problems arise and provide mitigation measures to realign progress to required needs.
• EHS - Through daily, weekly and long-range involvement related to Environment, Health and Safety, maintain the safe execution of assigned projects.

What you #39;ll need:

• Relevant Project and Construction management experience, with industrial knowledge and education with related Trades, Technology, or Engineering discipline.
• 15+ years of experience preferably in the Potash processing industry.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Maximo, Kronos, Internet and Computer Assisted Draftingamp; Design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for this position to ensure all objectives are achieved.
• Incumbent must be motivated and organized.
• This position requires a thorough level of knowledge of the Saskatchewan OH amp;S Act and Regulations, Mine Regulations, as well as other Provincial and Federal Safetyamp; Environmental regulations in effect.
• Employment is subject to successfully completing Mosaic #39;s pre-employment checks including criminal, drug and alcohol testing.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
