Job Description

OVERVIEW:On The Boardwalk Café and Wine is a modern restaurant offering a fine dining experience in a bistro style environment. We strive to provide a superior dining experience for our customers that will leave them returning over and over again. We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager that will oversee day-to-day operations, hire and train qualified staff members, and maintain high food standards. The Restaurant Manager will also be responsible for developing a positive brand image through consistent customer service and a positive attitude, they will help contribute to the growth and popularity of our restaurant, as well as the long-term success of our employees.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and maintain smooth restaurant operations - work with Head Chef, Event Manager, and Staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience to our customers
  • Maintain a positive restaurant culture
  • Hire and train new employees to help them meet the restaurant #39;s expectations
  • Interact with diners and build positive rapport with customers
  • Engage with the community by executing marketing initiatives
  • General administrative functions including staff work scheduling, payroll management, and facility maintenance
  • Supervise waitstaff, provide necessary feedback
  • Communicate with diners and mitigate potential conflicts
