Job Description

Seasonal Contract and Part Time/ Seasonal Class 1 Driver ***May - August***About the JobSeasonal Contractamp; Part Time Professional Driver with Class 1A License - Rural Routes. Position Summary:CWS Logistics is in need of a Seasonal Professional Driver looking for a lifestyle that is hard to come by in the trucking industry.Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Enjoys building relationships with regular customers.
  • Enjoys sleeping in their own bed. Our day cabs ensure that you’re home every night.
  • Is motivated to learn new tasks and is flexible to the challenging agricultural industry that we service.
  • Is an exceptional self-starter. The ability to accomplish daily duties according to our guidelines, with minimal supervision.
  • Clear communication with customers, fellow drivers and dispatch.
  • Delivery of agriculture products, to rural retail locations.
  • Physically fit.
  • Driver assisted off-loads (pallet jack 1000 kgs to back of the trailer).
  • Occasionally handling 50 lb bags of seed.
  • Days; Monday – Friday, with the occasional Saturday from April to June.
Job Requirements:
  • Class 1A license.
  • Apple Iphone.
  • English clearly spoken and written.
Additional Pay:
  • OT Hours.
  • $2500 bonus at end of Contract.
  • Potential for significant bonus pay. (inquire at interview)
