Job OverviewInline Group has an immediate opportunity available for a highly skilled Construction Surveyor (Survey Technician). This position will anchor a new expansion in the Fort McMurray region. This position is also a Fly In, Fly Out (FIFO) with varying shift rotations. Come join our team and experience the difference.Key AccountabilitiesSafety· Actively participate in Inline corporate HSE program· Actively participate in all client mandated safety programs· Encourage safe work, safety & quality interventions. Lead by example for both fellow coworkers and all project personnelSurveying· Record and maintain daily field notes of survey activities· Perform various aspects of industrial & civil survey tasks accurately and efficiently· Troubleshoot and maintain survey equipment & vehicles· Effectively communicate with the Client, Drafters and PMs/Supervisors· Mentor Survey Assistants/Junior Surveyors· Facilitate and maintain strong positive client relations· Actively participate in Inline ISO 9001 Quality ProgramPreferred Qualifications, Skills & Experience· Geomatics/Civil diploma or equivalent· Underground/Line Locating Certification and/or Advanced UAV Pilot Certification is an assetMinimum Qualification, Skills & Experience· Strong knowledge of Trimble GPS & Total Station· 3-5 years of industrial/civil surveying experience at intermediate to senior level· Valid class 5 drivers’ licence with 5-year clean drivers abstract· Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Windows based Applications)· Strong problem-solving skills & ability to work under stressful environments· Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy and care· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)· Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision· CSO, CSTS-2020 Basic Modules, Standard First Aid, H2S Alive Certification· Ability to travel based on project demands and work a rotational schedule· Ability to lift up to 50lbsFly In, Fly Out (FIFO) Project Highlights
