Medika North is seeking a Food Runner & COVID transportation driver to join our team in providing services for a COVID-19 Isolation centre located in Fort McMurray, AB.ResponsibilitiesSafely drive and provide transportation of goods to the COVID-19 Isolation centreProvide transportation for COVID-19 patientsCommunicate clearly in a professional and courteous mannerKeep vehicle clean, fueled and safeMust adhere to vehicle inspection log and tracking documentationWilling to perform all COVID Standard precaution training (infection control, PPE donning and doffing), mask fit testing, must be willing to use fogger system. And other Enhanced cleaning protocols.QualificationsMust have a VALID Class 5 drivers license and a clean 5 years driver’s abstractMust be familiar with Wood Buffalo region, including Fort McKay, Janvier and AnzacHow Medika North protects staff from COVID-19 infectionRapid Antigen Screening, temperature monitoring and mobile health screening questionnaireFull stock of quality PPE, gentle sanitizers and infection control signageWorkplace environmental design to ensure staff areas do not share air space with patient areasStrict infection control protocols including decontamination stations between patient and staff areasRole InformationDuration of Position: 3-6 monthsStart Date: As soon as possibleShift Rotation: 12 hour days 7 days on and 7 days off (Shifts are flexible and negotiable to your current schedule)Medika North is a local indigenous owned Health Service company, supporting the First Nation’s in Wood Buffalo and surrounding areas in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
