Job Description

We are looking for an IT technichian who is available for a fly in fly out, 2 week on 2 week off rotation in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This postion requires an individual who can work under a supervisor and can be self directed as well. They will be required to work in both an office setting and visiting job sites in the field. We are looking for 2-3 years experience working in this type of field and environment.the candidtate must me familiar with the following

• Domain Management - Active Directory (Windows Server Management), Vmware, WSUS (Windows Update Services), Account management

Domain management for Mine Control Systems. Ensure group policies (GPO) are updated and working in our environment to control security and access to our servers, workstations and systems. Create, decommission and document servers. Manage patches and server resources. Consult with stakeholders to give the appropriate access rights (minimal needed to perform work required). Ensure service accounts are used, not personal, for scheduled tasks. User accounts 600+, domain objects 300+, servers/ESXI 200+

• Wired and Wireless Network Performance and Reliability and Network Security

Provide and maintain secure, reliable, high availability network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, wireless access points (AP/FL), P2P/PMP (backhauls) to ICSR/Exxon standards. Maintain IMS network mangement system. ACL management/signoffs/audits/controls/alerts. Approximately 1800+ pieces of equipment

• MineStar Command/Terrain/Fleet/Health/Business Objects

Provide, maintain infrastructure (network, servers, workstations / HMI, etc.). Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure related issues. Application administrators. Help Desk support. Approximately 1000+ accounts, 1800+ pieces of equipment.

• ISCR and CSCR Requests and Approvals, Licensing

Management of change administration and approval gatekeeper. All CSCRs are processed through MCS Admins to ensure system stability, consistency, proper approvals and closeout. Ensure software licence compliance. Approximately 120+ completed CSCRs each month, 150+ controls tasks

• Symantec Antivirus

Antivirus ICSR compliance for MCS domain

• RIMEX TyreSense

Tire system monitor for haul trucks. Provide, maintain infrastructure (network, servers, workstations / HMI, etc.). Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure related issues. Application administrators. Help Desk support. Approximately 100+ accounts, 100+ pieces of equipment/transceivers.

• Acronis Backup

Backup ICSR compliance for MCS domain.

• L4 Transfers/Reporting

Implement, maintain data transfers to/from L3 to L4 systems. Coordinate and troubleshoot with EMIT and vendor systems. Approximately 25+ exports/imports

• DSS

CAT Driver Safety System (in cab fatigue monitoring). Cellular modems on trucks which report back to CAT. Manage break/fix on the hardware and firmware (on all haul trucks), manage additions/deletions for trucks and users and providing videos to safety investigation. Approximately 100+ accounts, 160+ pieces of equipment/ECMs.

• Midas Live/Siemens Shovel Health

Shovel Health monitoring. Provide, maintain infrastructure (cell network, servers, workstations / HMI, etc.). Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure related issues. Application administrators. Help Desk support. Approximately 50+ accounts, 30+ pieces of equipment (Rocky/transmitter/PLC).

• Printer support

MCS L3 connects to EMIT printers, requiring a print relay server and open firewall ports. Each time an EMIT printer changes (or is added and needed by our users) we need to update/configure/troubleshoot on the MCS side. Approximately 25+ printers

• Michelin MEMS

Tire system monitor for haul trucks. Provide, maintain infrastructure (network, servers, workstations / HMI, etc.). Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure related issues. Application administrators. Help Desk support. Approximately 100+ accounts, 100+ pieces of equipment/transceivers.

• Pelco Cameras

Cameras installed in mine. Provide, maintain infrastructure (network, servers, workstations / HMI, etc.). Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure related issues. Application administrators. Help Desk support. Approximately 100+ accounts, 150+ pieces of equipment.

• Projects

Provide technical expertise which includes deploying, maintaining, advising, administrating, and logistics for projects eg. LTE Pilot project.Job Type: Full-timeAbility to commute/relocate:
