Job Description

LEMs Attest Analyst - (2212157)The Opportunity:The LEM Attest Analyst is part of the Albian Finance Team responsible for the attestation of LEMs submitted via the Maximo LEM System for an assigned portfolio of LEM vendors.In this role, you will perform attestation of submitted daily LEMs and associated back-up as to the contract terms and condition associated with the vendor and the specific scope of work performed. Also, in supporting the role, it provides exposure to various types of contracts, government legislation, and labour laws while interacting with various internal departments and external vendors leading to future opportunities in the finance department.Key Accountabilities:

  • Understanding the specific terms and conditions of the specific contract to perform proper attestation of submitted LEMs
  • Managing the daily LEMs in your que to be attested in a timely manner, usually within 2-3 business days
  • Prioritize inquiries and deliver solutions in a timely manner
  • Investigation and reporting of system support requests, and providing recommendations on improvements
  • Liaise and collaborate with LEMs and Attest Teams, Supply Management, Business Units, Maximo support, and external vendors to resolve various requests
  • Escalate issues of significance that may put the business at risk such as delay in processing of LEMs which results in delayed vendor payments

  • Job location: Albian Oilsands, Fort McMurray, Alberta
  • Shift schedule: 4x3 6am to 4pm (Monday to Thursday)
  • This is a temporary position
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Typically 3 to 5 years of related industry experience with University Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration
  • Expertise in Financial and management accounting systems and Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel
  • Experience in E1, Open Invoice, Maximo software, or accounting/cost systems is considered an asset
  • Highly developed analytical skills and problem solving abilities
  • Excellent documentation skills, effective communication, skills, able to articulate issues/resolutions to the respective individual or external vendors
  • Curiosity, inquisitiveness, and willingness to learn will help make the candidate successful in the role
