  • Material Coordinator / Skilled Warehouse Personnel
Function:
  • Dedicated purchasing professional specializing in logistics coordination, vendor relations & inventory management. Organized & proactive with remarkable project management, communication & planning abilities. Exceptional Leader skilled at reducing costs & increasing department efficiency.
Key Tasks:
  • Manage procurement requests through MacLaren / Maximo driven process for CNRL Horizon & CNUL Albian Sites.
  • Facilitate internal approval process for new requirements (REQ’s), ensuring approvals are obtained in a timely fashion & governed by the appropriate level of GOA internally (Grant of Operating Authority).
  • Develop & maintain professional cross-functional relationships with all Bouchier Team Members, External Vendors & Internal End Users alike.
  • Generate PO’s & relevant Credit Card purchases to relevant suppliers of choice based on departmental needs / requirements.
  • Facilitate Repair / Return / Replacements as required on behalf of internal key players (I.e. Inspection / Recertification of Safety Sensitive Equipment / Tools, etc.) for both CNRL Clients & Bouchier Team Members.
  • Monitor material availability & confirm ETA’s based on T-minus deliverables from partial to complete readiness on a daily basis, ensuring integrity within Maximo is sustained & execution of work seamless.
  • Coordinate Incoming / Outgoing shipments as required.
  • Manage open orders & A/R with suppliers of choice, sustaining net 30-day payment terms.
  • Liaise with Procurement Coordinator regarding New Vendor Setup opportunities.
  • Monitor & control Inventory Levels for pertinent stock where opportunities exist through min/max management (I.e. Horizon).
  • Assist Site Administrators in reconciling p-card purchases on a weekly / monthly basis.
  • Run Reports for respective Project Superintendent(s) for budgeting management purposes.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Self Motivated Starter
  • Commitment to Best Practices in Health, Safety & Environmental Management
  • Oilsands Industry Experience – 5 + Years
  • OSSA Basic Safety Orientation (BSO)
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Non-Negotiable)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Computer Management Software Systems (CMSS)
  • MS Excel
  • Navision
  • Maximo / McLaren
  • Two (2) or more years experience in Procurement / Warehousing
  • Excellent Communication Skills (both written & verbal)
  • Purchasing Management / Inventory Controls / Warehouse Management Background an asset
  • Strong Customer Service & Organizational Skills
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with others
