To support this goal, the North Zone Addictions and Mental Health department has an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker, Child & Youth. The Addiction and Mental Health portfolio co-ordinates, plans, delivers and evaluates a provincewide network of AHS programs and contracted services. We work with a common purpose: to promote understanding and compassion, to encourage healthy behaviour and attitudes, and to help all Albertans achieve well-being throughout their lives. The Child and Youth, Community Addictions and Mental Health program provides specialized assessment and treatment services to children, adolescents and their families. The addictions and mental health, child and youth team works collaboratively as a multidisciplinary team providing care of children experiencing serious emotional, psychological, behavioural and/or psychiatric illness This opportunity is located within Fort McMurray which resides on Treaty 8 territory, the largest treaty by area in the history of Canada.
