Job Description

Position ScopeBFI is looking for several Finish Dozer Operators to join our Syncrude Aurora Projects in Fort McMurray, ABSite: Syncrude AuroraProject: Syncrude Aurora MSP ProjectsHourly Rate: $39.46Shift schedule: 14 days on & 7 off or 10 days on 4 days offAccomodations: Camp providedTransportation: Bussing provided from Fort McMurray to site dailyExperience Required: Must have a minimum of 5 years finishing experienceAdditional Comments:

  • Successful candidates will be required to join the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 955
  • Benefits and pension are provided through Local 955

All sucessful candidates MUST provide the following items prior to confirmation of their start date:
  • CSTS-09 or CSTS 2020
  • WHMIS 2015
  • Wildlife/Bear Awareness
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
  • Ground Disturbance 201 (Level 2)
  • Valid class 5 Drivers License
  • Drivers abstract - must be a minimum of 3 years and within 30 days
  • Other certification may be required based on site requirements
Successful candidates must:
  • Be proficient in English, both verbally and written
  • Undergo and successfully pass the following testing:
    • Breath Alcohol Test
    • Urine Drug Test
