Job Description

We are devoted to making “Safety… Our Way of Life”.SummaryUnder the direction of the Team Leader and our client, the Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for the issuing of materials and equipment from the Tool Crib or Warehouse. They are responsible for assisting with inventory, creating and opening work orders, and returning items to stock. They may also receive, inspect, and store incoming tools and equipment.This is a safety- sensitive position that requires completion of pre-employment/ pre access testing.Key focuses:

  • Maintain a clean and orderly Tool Crib area
  • Process tool request orders in a timely manner
  • Maintaining inventory and basic filing systems
  • Scheduling small tool maintenance and repairs when needed
  • Give proper care to the operation and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
  • Be alert to risks and threats in order to prevent losses before they occur
  • Must be dependable and reliable
  • Must be flexible and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skill
  • Aurora Main Tool Crib
  • Team 502; 6 on and 6 off schedule (3 days, 3 nights and 6 off)
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Grade twelve (12) Diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience is required
  • Retention of a valid Class five (5) driver’s license and a 3 year clean drivers abstract is required.
  • Valid BSO/CSO certification is required
  • TDG ticket is an asset
  • Basic Computer Skills are required
  • Ability to speak, write and read English is required
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
