  • Coordinates and collates the Turnover (from construction to commissioning) of construction contractor quality records, acceptance certificates, mechanical completion certificates, etc. ensuring the safe and controlled initiation of commissioning.
  • Coordinates and collates the Handover (from commissioning to operations) of commissioning contractor quality records, acceptance certificates, mechanical completion certificates, etc. ensuring a safe and controlled start up and operation.
  • Maintains and administers the Completion Management System (CMS) software.
Responsibilities:Scope:
  • Providing Capital Projects site execution Turnover and Handover duties, supporting both Surmont and Montney Assets.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Ensures the contractor quality records, acceptance certificates, mechanical completion certificates and the documentation for specific systems and buildings/areas are prepared and collated in accordance with project requirements
  • Administers and maintains ConocoPhillips/Omega PIMS completion management software
  • Coordinates with the planning and scheduling department to ensure milestone dates are understood for each turnover and handover area/system
  • Coordinates with the site QA/QC and commissioning for the completion of as-built turnover and handover documentation
  • Resolves any discrepancies between the completed milestone and quality documentation
  • Coordinates with the commissioning department to define the scope of work and develop system component (tag) lists
  • Assist the site subcontractors to compile turnover dossiers as required
  • Provide progress information for incorporation into project reports
  • Monitor hydrostatic test packages for incorporation into the completion management system
  • Monitor and control the status of punch list and exception lists relevant to quality dossiers
  • Attend the weekly QA/QC, and commissioning meetingsExpectations:
  • Leads other team members (multi-discipline team lead) on specific assignments. Influences others to achieve objectives.
  • Understands advanced aspects of function and is viewed as an expert in this field. Often provides specialized/technical/functional guidance to others within department and/or business asset.
  • Broad knowledge of core discipline and related areas, and has developed multiple anchor skills (requires very little supervision in area of expertise)
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
  • Degree or Technical Diploma, or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7 years of relevant industry experience
  • Effective communication skills to properly interface with many groups
  • Working knowledge of standard Windows applications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability/desire to share best practices/key learning across the organization
  • Working knowledge of Completion Management System software
