Challenging work, welcoming communities, and expanded opportunities are some of the benefits offered to employees of the NTHSSA.Job InformationReporting to the Regional Supervisor, Long Term Care, you will be a member of the resident care team who provides personalized care to residents who have common well-defined nursing diagnoses. You will act as the residents advocate in consultation with Licensed Practical Nurses and Regional Supervisor, Long Term Care. You will ensure the safety and comfort, maintain hygiene, facilitate physical activity and promote the independence and mental well-being of the residents in a respectful and compassionate manner.You must have knowledge of and an ability to provide basic home nursing and support and knowledge of and the ability to apply basic First Aid and CPR in order to preserve life and promote healing. In addition, you must have the ability to use nursing equipment including but not limited to the Mechanical Lift, Commode, Tub, Bath Chair and Scale.
