Our vision is to create an industrial site occupied by businesses that can compete with the best in the world.Our success will be achieved through the guidance, ingenuity and hard work of the people that both work for and own our company.About the Opportunity:Harmac Pacific currently has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Steam Plant Shift Supervisor/Engineer to join our 380,000 tonne per year pulp mill in Nanaimo, BC. As a Steam Plant Shift Supervisor/Engineer, you will supervise the shift operating crews which operate the plant’s Recovery and Power boilers, along with Power Generation Turbines and Effluent Treatment plant.Qualifications:The successful candidate must have a 2nd Class Power Engineering certificate of qualification and should have a strong background working in the heavy industry. Well-developed interpersonal skills, a demonstrated track record of building a cooperative work environment, and the ability to manage change in the workplace are important attributes in this position.Along with your qualifications, you will be a proven performer who is excited about contributing to the business as a whole.
