CleanEarth Industrial Services is adding full time Field Technicians to their safety-oriented team in Enfield NS.THE OPPORTUNITYField Technicians are responsible to drive service equipment to and from worksites, load/unload and haul liquid using specialized equipment and execute spill clean-ups.*SIGNING BONUS UPON HIRING*Company paid training and career advancement opportunities are provided to employees and we offer competitive wages ($23-$25 per hour), opportunities for overtime pay, comprehensive health benefits and group RRSP with company matching component. Our priority is Health and Safety.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESComply with all safe work practices, policies, and act is a safe manner at all times to ensure the Health and Safety of the work environment;Ensure proper operation of equipment and loading/unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste;Operates and drives service equipment and assists with job site preparation;Rigging equipment in and out;Clean and maintain equipment and ensure equipment is always mechanically sound and in good working order;Properly complete paper documentation for the job, including pre/post trips;Maintain daily logs, worksheets, timecards, trip reports and vehicle inspection reportsCommunicates with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day;Work as part of a team with customers, coworkers and supervisorsQUALIFICATIONSClass 3 license is required;Regulatory safety tickets are considered an asset (e.g. First Aid with CPR, H2S, Confined Space Entry); will provide trainingAbility to work with minimal supervision, in a team and in a safety focused environment;Ability to work outside in various weather conditions for extended periods of time;Willingness to travel is considered an assetProudly locally owned and operated, CleanEarth is a full-service industrial cleaning and waste management services company.
