Our supervisors possess strong leadership, communication and relationship skills. They are expected to support senior leadership by developing and assuming basic management responsibilities. This role leads other associates by coaching, giving direction and training. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience.Position Requirements1. Working directly with our full time Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure daily tasks on the weekends are fulfilled.2. Provide excellent communication to the Guest Services Manager, General Manager, Housekeeping Supervisor, and all other Managers regarding any issues on the weekends.3. Assist with the orientation, training and development of all housekeeping employees as required by company policy.4. Ensure the correct handling of guest laundry and lost property in accordance with hotel and company standards.5. Ensure adherence to security of bedrooms and keys as detailed in the Standards and Procedures Manual.6. Facilitate the daily checking of bedrooms and designated employee areas maintaining standards set down in the Standards & Procedures Manual.7. Ensure the safe storage, issue and effective use of cleaning materials and equipment as specified by the manufactures and Standards and Procedures Manual.8.
