Maintenance employees are responsible for the general upkeep of the hotel, hotel grounds, parking lots, outside buildings, sewage treatment plant, inside and outside pools, etc. Other duties will include shoveling walkways and guest vehicles, mowing lawns, assisting guests, various duties such as minor plumbing, drywall, taping, painting, small mechanics, etc and/or other initiatives and requests as required. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. This is a fast-paced work environment which demands effective multitasking and extensive guest contact.Position RequirementsA true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment. Excellent communication skills. Ability to stand for long periods of time, the ability to push, pull, bend, carry heavy objects, stretch, etc. The availability to work a variety of shifts with days off that vary from week to week, and the ability to work evenings and overnights on occasion, weekends, including Sunday’s, and holidays as required.
