Our supervisors possess strong leadership, communication and relationship skills. They are expected to support senior leadership by developing and assuming basic management responsibilities. This role leads other associates by coaching, giving direction and training. A Manager on Duty leads the agents whom are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. Other duties may include processing forms of payment, responding to guest inquires/complaints, and assisting with other departments such as housekeeping (which is a requirement on the weekends). Refined verbal and written communication skills. Ability to stand for long periods of time. The availability to work a variety of shifts with days off that vary from week to week, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, including Sunday’s, and holidays as required. Experience and a thorough understanding of Front Office operations is considered an asset. Bilingualism or multilingualism considered an asset.
