Job Description

Overview:The Business Development Representative is responsible for the development and execution of new business revenue growth through expansion and creation of new B2B channel accounts. The role will report to the Head of Business Development for our B2B Division and work closely with the Danby Leadership team. This key hunter role will focus on establishing and developing new incremental customers and business in the targeted B2B channels. This role will work collaboratively across all key departments including sales, finance, operations, marketing and category management.Responsibilities:

  • Creating and establishing new B2B channel customers, and working closely with the head of business development and key internal colleagues to drive succe
  • Execute against a top target list of identified B2B accounts and channel segments to secure them as new customers and markets for Danby
  • Work to launch new product lines for Danby within both existing and new channels
  • Be a product knowledge champion to provide key recommendations across all opportunities and to work closely with category managers, sales, and marketing
  • Help develop and manage the effective use of CRM tools and processes to ensure accurate tracking of data to build a solid and growing database of customer contact
  • Prepare weekly updates and market feedback to share across departments. The updates will also be used to track progress against assigned sales goals
  • Demonstrate a positive can-do attitude to focus on doing the right thing and represent the company in a professional manner focused on long term success
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of sales or business development experience
  • Experience across multiple channels. B2B is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office-Excel, Word, Power Point
  • CRM experience is an asset
  • A team player who understands how to drive and deliver the desired results
  • Proven ability to develop and grow long term customer engagement and trust
