  • Assist in delivering newspaper when required
  • Recruit independent contracts and process the necessary paperwork
  • Submit monthly payroll for Guelph and Cambridge independent contractors
  • Address any payment concerns
  • Complete all independent contractors’ adjustments for Guelph and Cambridge
  • Input and adjust any changes for independent contractors in the system
  • Administrative tasks assigned as needed
  • Respond to customer complains through the customer service platform regarding delivery of the Cambridge Times and any other inquires/issues
  • Address any concerns, delivery issues or questions Drivers may have
  • Maintaining Filepro database for New Hamburg
  • Update independent contractor’s contract as required
  • Communicate any delivery changes to the delivery team
  • Ensure that all invoices are sent to accounting for payment
  • Communication with sales reps regards to bookings
  • Maintain flyer jacket schedule for the sales team
  • Oversee specialty distributions for markets
Working Schedule
  • Work from Home and travel to site, Monday to Friday - 9:00am – 5:00pm
Qualifications
  • Minimum of High School diploma an asset
  • 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Microsoft Excel is an asset, and on the job, training is provided
  • Superior customer service and the ability to develop positive team relationships
  • Solid organizational and time management skills, detail oriented, and task prioritization
  • Highly flexible and adaptable; able to react quickly and effectively to urgent and changing requests
  • Strong computer abilities and Microsoft office proficiency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Responsible, self-motivated, and able to function with minimal supervision
  • Physical activity is required, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license required
