Market Fresh is an independent local gourmet grocer in the heart of downtown Guelph for 20 years.Our Market Fresh team is a family of friendly and optimistic individuals who excel in our fast pace and ever changing environment.We are currently seeking an individual to join our Front Bakery. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, loves to bake, and a team player who thrives in a busy environment.This individual must be passionate about food and able to make a minimum of a 1 year commitment to our team.The position will be a variety of shifts including days, afternoons and weekends anywhere from 6:00am-8:00pm.Responsibilities: - Serving bakery items- Packaging product- Managing the showcases- Ensuring the floor is full and faced every 30 minutes- Assisting customers- Keeping the work area clean and organized- Use the computer to enter product codes and change pricing accordingly- Communicating with the Back Bakery- All other duties as assignedIncentives: - Benefits (full time employees)- Room to grow; cross training- Great employee programs (employee of the month, high five board)Qualifications: - Occasional lifting up to 20lbs- Comfortable being on your feet all day- Customer service experienceThis position is great for an individual who thrives working in a busy environment.Please submit your resume for consideration.Expected start date: 2021-11-16Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: From $14.35 per hourAdditional pay:
