Job Description

Fundraising and Donor Relations Builder – Full-Time Temporary - $22.98/ hrAre you between the ages of 19 to 30 years old, who has or is working towards a diploma/degree in Fundraising Management, Community Services, Sociology, or Business that would like to gain experience in this field over the summerWe are looking for a Fundraising and Donor Relations Builder to work 28 hours a week for 10 weeks in Guelph. As a Fundraising and Donor Relations Builder, you will be gaining experience in fundraising management, data entry, and community services by reviewing current CLGW fundraising initiatives and proposing improvements for future donor relations strategies.Why work with us

Whats the job
  • Develop a strong comprehension of all CLGW missions, goals and policies related to fundraising efforts and donor relations
  • Regularly perform data entry and synthesis
  • Review and understand CLGW’s donor relations strategy
  • Perform internal and external research to navigate the existing efficiencies, successes and areas of improvement of CLGW’s fundraising initiatives
  • Establish, propose and execute implementation plans for future improvements regarding donor tracking, benchmark relations, donor retention and growth
  • Act as a point of reference for organization members learning donor tracking systems
What do you bring to the job
  • Post-secondary education in Fundraising Management, Community Services, Sociology, Business or related field
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Must be between the ages of 19 to 30 years old as per Canada Summer Jobs requirements
