We are hiring an individual for a Working Lead-hand position to support and overlook production on a paint line. As a Working Lead-hand, you will lead and work with a functional team of General Labourers and Painters to complete daily production schedules and tasks. Work consists of over-looking and supporting the daily operation of: Loading and unloading a line, Quality Assurance by inspecting all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring equipment is in specification, ensuring the daily production schedule is met and well as general warehouse cleanliness. Training will be provided. The candidate needs to be able to work with people and provide direction where needed. The Lead-hand will work with the Plant Manager to establish and achieve production schedules, and to assist in the development of their team & work area. *Qualifications: * * Supervisory or team leader experience * Experience operating a forklift is not required, but preferred * Must be motivated, have a strong work ethic and be detailed-oriented * Strong interpersonal and engaging communication and leadership skills * Team player with respect for co-workers * Analytical and trouble shooting skills, creative problem-solving Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Hourly From $22-28 per hour Schedule: * Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm * Early Fridays during the Summer months * Breaks and lunch throughout the dayJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $20.00-$22.00 per hourFlexible Language Requirement:
