Job Description

We are looking for a full time bakery to join our team at Sweet Temptations Bakery in Guelph, ON. The Baker is responsible for opening the bakery, ensuring baked goods are prepared according to established recipes, maintaining a clean work environment, and prepping baked goods for sale and delivery.Responsibilities

  • Ensures all baked goods are completed on time for opening
  • Products include- Cupcakes, cakes, squares, French macaroon for example. Baker will be required to prep, bake and decorate.
  • Assists with prepping baked goods for delivery
  • Cleans and restocks workstations and equipment
Requirements
  • 2 year work experience in the baking/pastry work force
  • Baking and pastry post secondary preferred
  • Must have good attention to detail – especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products
  • Must have Safe food handlers certification
  • Tuesday to Saturday work schedule required
  • Must be able to lift/push up to 40lbs.
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $15.00-$18.00 per hourFlexible language requirement:
  • French not required

Experience:
  • Baking: 2 years (preferred)
