Job Description

Health and Safety Assistant – Full-Time Temporary - $22.98/ hrAre you between the ages of 19 to 30 years old, who has or is working towards a diploma/degree in Psychology, Sociology, Health and Safety or Human Resources that would like to gain experience in this field over the summerWe are looking for a Health and Safety Assistant to work 28 hours a week for 10 weeks in Guelph. As a Health and Safety Assistant, you will be gaining experience in the planning and implementation of Psychological Health and Safety practices at CLGW.Why work with us

Whats the job
  • Review and analyze external Psychological Health and Safety plans
  • Collaborate with the HR Team and other CLGW staff to determine the needs of CLGW related to their psychological well-being.
  • Develop and propose a Psychological Health and Safety plan suited for the environment of CLGW
What do you bring to the job
  • Post-secondary education in Psychology, Sociology, Health and Safety or Human Resources Management or related field
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel)
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Must be between the ages of 19 to 30 years old as per Canada Summer Jobs requirements
