Posting #: NU-22-089Position: Informatics Project Manager, FTRole: ManagerDepartment: IM InformaticsAvailable: Full Time (FT)Current Shifts: DaysCurrent Rate of Pay: Min $48.27 - Max $57.29Posting Date: November 9, 2022 @ 12:00PMClosing Date: November 16, 2022 @ 12:00PMPosition Summary:The Informatics Project Manager will work collaboratively with internal and external partners, to initiate, plan, and execute projects in support of departmental and corporate initiatives in accordance with accepted project management methodologies and practices. Focused on ITSM initiatives that impact multiple departments, the Informatics Project Manager will deliver projects across the program, lead major projects, and mentor team members in leading their own smaller initiatives._____________________________________________________________________________________________Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Abilities:

  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent training and relevant experience
  • 5 – 7 years of recent project management experience
  • PMP designation preferred
  • Lean certification preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles
  • Broad knowledge of health care systems with an understanding of the relationships between government, primary and acute care
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner as well as collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service when interacting with patients, families, colleagues and clinicians
  • Knowledge of financial principles, budget management, and funding and how these apply to project execution
  • Experience leading projects and understanding of clinical workflow in an acute care setting
  • Understanding of privacy and other legislation and the impact on clinical systems
  • Effective facilitation, persuasion, and negotiation skills to achieve consensus, achieve desired outcomes, and resolve conflicts
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines, priorities, and projects while delivering objectives on-time under pressure
  • Ability to lead project teams and foster cooperation and open communication among team members.
