You may have known us previously as The Gideons International In Canada.Our mission is to ignite and fuel a passion in people’s hearts to share the gospel—training and equipping them, as a community of believers, to effectively introduce people to Jesus through God’s Word. SWG fuels the movement to “GO!” and reach more people with the gospel through relational evangelism and training, innovative Scripture resources, and by partnering with local churches worldwide.Position DescriptionThe International Growth Administrator supports the Director of International Growth who leads a passionate team of global Regional Managers. The team facilitates the organization’s objectives in evangelism, Scripture distribution, church partnerships and volunteer training and development. A key part of the role is managing all the logistics and administrative details around the global mission trips our volunteers go on, called "GO Trips".Reports to: Director of International GrowthTerm: Full timeLocation: Cambridge, ONKey Responsibilities

  • Book flights, hotels, insurance and other requirements for GO Trip teams, coordinating with Project Manager, in-country contractors and GO Trip Participants
  • Reviewing and reconciling trip expenses
  • Support the recruitment of GO Trip members
  • Plan and execute GO Trip Leader training events
  • Create review, and/or rewrite of training materials and/or policy documents
  • Support the collating of post-trip stories alongside the story journalist
  • Assist in administer the GO Trip alumni program
  • Coordinate and complete documentation and eligibility process for GO Trip Applicants/Participants, managing and troubleshooting satisfactory eligibility requirements, including waivers and forms
  • Maintain accurate filing system of documents
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date record keeping adhering to privacy regulations and laws
  • Manage the shipping of Scriptures including preparing all paperwork, and coordinate all the activities and personalities to ensure the successful delivery of Scriptures globally
  • Proactively review internal processes to identify increased efficiencies any risk management opportunities.
Role Requirements
  • A working knowledge of all Microsoft Office and Apple products
  • Database software such as customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with experience in managing and coordinating all details for multiple projects and initiatives
  • Experience implementing organizational processes and systems to support a vision or goal
  • Ability to craft communications for various audiences and department activities and initiatives
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a collaborative, cross-departmental team
  • Knowledge of project and event coordination & administration
  • Thrive in supporting many projects at once, while ensuring excellence in all.
Experience
  • 2-5 years demonstrated administrative coordination ability in a business or non-profit environment.
  • Proven experience in project coordination, and a team mentality in accomplishing objectives.
  • Post-Secondary Education, Office Administration/Assistant diploma is an asset.
