Whether it be a snowmobile, ATV, UTV, motorcycle, motocross, bicycles or marine and watersports, our customers always come first.The OpportunityAs an Inventory Manager, you are responsible for leading the daily backroom operations to ensure that the retail store maintains accurate inventory levels. You oversee all product received, the restock process in the backroom, the flow of merchandise through to the salesfloor, the warranty process, and the Buy Online Pick Up In-Store (BOPIS) sales channel. Maintaining accurate inventory numbers is your top priority, which requires accurate product counts across all areas of the store and backroom on a reoccurring basis.Responsibilities- Oversee the receiving and inventory management process- Ensure that daily inventory counts are performed and resolve any discrepancies that arise- Ensure adequate product coverage and organization of inventory by working with the Replenishment and Distribution Center management teams- Oversee and assist with receiving of product and store transfers- Maintain a clean and well-organized backroom that is free of clutter, debris, aisle blockages, and disorganized product locations- Maintain the accuracy of product locations in the backroom, ensuring that all product put away on-time and without error- Audit inventory safeguards and identify process improvements aimed at eliminating shrink and inventory adjustments- Identify and recommend necessary inventory adjustments to the Store Manager- Provide reoccurring training and testing to new and existing staff- Build positive team relations, demonstrate ethical behavior, and maintain all safety guidelines- Complete the appropriate opening and closing procedures for the storeQualifications- 2+ years of retail leadership experience- Hands-on working knowledge of retail inventory operations- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to complete assigned work and projects on time within a fast, ever-changing environment- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities- Proficiency in computer useAdditional Information- This position reports to the Store Manager- This position requires team members to work varying hours, seasonal overtime, and shifts during days, evenings, and weekends- This position requires team members to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder and to move merchandise (weighing up to 50 pounds) throughout the store- Steel toe, green patch work boots are requiredWhile we thank everyone for their interest, only those to be interviewed will be contacted.
