Job Description

We’re growing and looking for a passionate, driven and energetic candidate to join our team for the position of Marketing Coordinator located in our Head Office in Guelph, Ontario.Job DescriptionLooking for a chance to make your mark in a fast-paced, professional and fun environment As a Marketing Coordinator, you will primarily assist in the promotion of Skylines Commercial and Retail REITs by supporting, developing, and distributing marketing and communications materials. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible to coordinate the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing activity, with a focus on lead acquisition, and growing brand awareness. The role will also provide support to the Director of Marketing on special projects, while maintaining focus on our shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people and our communities.What you will be doing:

  • Oversee the development of various external/internal marketing and communications materials from concept to production.
  • Develop compelling campaigns, brand plans, localizing national brand visions or developing local brand positionings where appropriate to foster passion, energy and focus across the organization.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing team to maintain and update content on Skyline websites.
  • Work with Director of Marketing to brainstorm, test and iterate new growth strategies.
  • Coordinate the design, content, and distribution of various external/internal marketing and communications materials.
  • Identify innovative media channels to create new campaigns with the objective to generate new leads.
  • Research, develop and execute creative social media tactics along with the Digital Marketing team.
  • Conduct research to enhance promotional material which may include identifying relevant topics, fact-checking, and analyzing sources to generate information, monitoring competitive threats, innovations and marketing opportunities and tools.
  • Analyze marketing data to help shape future marketing strategies.

  • Experience working with sales people (leasing people would be even better).
  • Professionalism - it means so many things, but to us its about taking pride in the quality of service we provide to our customers.
  • Experience in commercial and/or retail real estate is not required but would be an asset

  • Post-secondary degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Five years of workplace experience or equivalent combination of workplace experience and education.
