We produce rubber products for the automotive & power transmission industries. Our areas of expertise are in the area of rubber molding, material development, engineering, injection molding and over molding.In 2011 we were purchased by Starlim Sterner, market leaders in Silicone Liquid Injection Molding, with the head office in Austria and a manufacturing plant in London Ontario. We are committed to be a healthy, safe and environmentally conscious workplace.Order Entry Specialist RoleThe Order Entry Specialist role is responsible for coordinating order entry production and logistics, main appropriate documentation, ensuring on time delivery and the highest levels of customer service. The role also supports the order process from entry to order delivery, and will become a vital member of the organization with a focus on maintaining a high standard.Duties Include:

  • Receives and enter customer orders. Verifies pricing, lead times, minimum order quantities, and terms. Ensures all orders are entered accurately and on time
  • Enters orders in ERP system and follows them up with order acknowledgment to customer
  • Adjust order information (Sell Price, Verbiage, delivery information etc) as needed based on approved changes after the initial order is entered
  • Communicates with customers throughout their order(s) with professional verbal and written communications, concerning all aspects both positive and/or negative.
  • Create invoice and send them to the customer. Support finance in the creation of a credit note.
  • Resolves inquiries on errors related to invoicing, pricing, incorrect shipments or returns in cooperation with finance
  • Update and track customer consignment orders
  • Maintain customer portals and advise on forecast requirements
  • Track, measure and report regularly the status of customer orders with the required departments
  • Liaises with production, purchasing and logistics Coordinator to track order status
  • Maintains knowledge of all products, processes and policies to support and exceed customer expectations
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the overall customer experience
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications and Requirements
  • College Diploma, Supply Chain/Logistics or Business education preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years customer service or related experience performing order entry along with some shipping/receiving/inventory experience.
  • Knowledge of ERP applications such as Infor VISUAL and/or other ERP systems is preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing environment preferred

  • Demonstrated competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong customer focus, team player, innovative and self-motivated
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage change in a high pressure environment
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and confidence in dealing with all levels of
an organization
  • Documentation input and record keeping accuracy a must
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic customs knowledge is required (USMCA, etc.)
  • Highly organized and good follow-up skills
