Job Description

Transport N Service has an exciting opportunity to join our Team! Our shop is looking for an experienced Parts & Service Co-Ordinator to work and grow with us!Were excited to welcome you into our family. Apply now! Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Seeking Hardworking & Dependable individual
  • Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Highly organized ability to strive in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • General Knowledge of Shop/Inventory processes (an asset)
  • Knowledge with various Makes/Models of Truck/Trailers (asset but not a requirement)
  • Knowledge of Ministry of transportation rules/regulations (asset but not requirement)
  • Knowledge of the Transportation industry in general (asset but not requirement)
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
  • Ability to provide own transportation to and from workplace
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED required
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Opening/Processing/Closing of work orders, including filing.
  • Generate purchase orders for part requirements
  • Assist with updating fleet documentation in terms of permits and licensing as required.
  • Maintaining Parts Inventory/Organizing stock & receiving deliveries
  • Stocking/Organizing Parts
  • Creating and updating reports as requested
  • Maintain MSDS files and updating documentation as required
  • Building warranty claims & maintaining a clear account
  • Filing and maintaining equipment files
  • Direct contact with vendors on all levels
  • Professional etiquette when addressing phone and electronic inquiries from Vendors, drivers and Internal staff.
  • Working alongside Fleet Manager, Mechanics, Drivers and other internal staff members on a daily basis
